I decided to try out a new system. This system is best for Rotisserie and I rated players eligible for 1B, 2B, SS, 3B and the OF on their help in five categories: AVG, HR, RBI, R and SB. I gave them a rating of “Great”, “Good”, “Average” and “Bad”, as far as helping in that category. I’m only grading players who aren’t expected to be on the IL for months, who played in the Majors and who aren’t waiver wire players with little to no upside.

AVG: “Great” = .300+; “Good” = .280-.299; “Average” = .268-.279; “Bad” = .267 and below.

HR: “Great” = 32+; “Good” = 25-31; “Average” = 18-24; “Bad” = 17 or less.

RBI: “Great” = 100+; “Good” = 85-99; “Average” = 78-84; “Bad” = 77 or less.

R: “Great” = 95+; “Good” = 80- 94″; Average” is 75-79; Bad” = 74 and below.

SB: “Great” = 26+; “Good” = 15-25; “Average” = 7-14; “Bad” = 6 or below.

I will also grade a player using a total of their points. “Great” = 5 points, “Good” = 3 points, “Average” = 1 point and “Bad” = 0 points.

25 points = perfect player.

0 points = horrible player.
